Lisbon Communications dispatches emergency services for the towns of Greene, Durham, and Sabattus which have a combined population of 13,000 people. We collect approximately $70,000 dollars in revenue for providing this service.
Lisbon Communications also dispatches emergency services for Lisbon, population 9,000 people, for a cost of $330,000. (400 thousand minus the 70 thousand we get from the other towns we dispatch)
Does anyone see a problem with these numbers?
And why wasn't this pointed out in our recent "Police Efficiency Study"?
All of these figures are readily available on Lisbonme.org
