Louisiana Police Chief Rapes Drunk Woman, -----Pleads guilty

Louisiana Police Chief Rapes Drunk Woman, Commits Perjury, Tells Town Officials to "Stick It" When They Call For His Resignation.

Police Chief Earl Theriot responded to a call for an intoxicated woman at a store. He took her back to the station and forced her to have sex with him. Theriot reportedly had the woman handcuffed and restrained with her belt at the time of the assault and stashed her under his desk in the police station.

When the woman filed a federal lawsuit against the chief, town officials called for his resignation. The chief denied he committed the crime and said "they can stick it." He lied to federal investigators about the incident, claiming she was never at the police station.

He then pleaded guilty and received a devastating sentence of PROBATION for two years (no jail time), a $2500 dollar fine, and was allowed to resign his job, which we can assume means he will keep his benefits.
