UPDATED: Thursday, 9:50 a.m.
Shortly before 5 p.m., police went to 738 Lisbon St., a multifamily apartment house a short distance from Sand Hill Road. Police said there had been some type of altercation there during which Louis St. Pierre, 60, collapsed. He was taken to Central Maine Medical Center by his family, where he later died.

It was unknown how his death was related to the altercation. The man, police said, had a history of heart problems. There were no visible marks on him, police said, but they stressed they are awaiting results of an autopsy.

St. Pierre lived at that address.
"This fight allegedly started in the hallway area and then out into the driveway," Lt. Michael McGonagle said.

Thursday morning there had been no arrests and it remained under investigation, he said.
